Animations introducing Hakkōda and how they empower data-driven businesses. Following on from our brand redesign, data consultancy Hakkōda needed to communicate their business proposition in a way that matched the sophistication of their new visual identity. In response Set Reset created two animation concepts: one to serve as an introduction to Hakkōda and the second to explain their process for data transformation. Each was developed and refined to a final script in a collaborative process with the senior stakeholders. We simplified wherever possible, prioritising easy-to-understand language while retaining the technical elements that reinforced Hakkōda’s expertise.

We combined 3D brand elements with engaging animation to visualise and bring to life the concepts and narratives of each script. The final visual treatment took advantage of creative lighting and materials to produce a vibrant, high-fidelity visual style that builds on the foundations of our original identity design. Accompanying soundtracks were mixed with sound effects and a professional voice-over, providing a rich soundscape to compliment the bold visual language. The animations have been successfully used to on-board and educate potential customers, both through Hakkōda’s website and across in-person trade events.
